Located near Auburn, NY, I am a sole proprietor who has been working with computers for most of my life.  While many computer shops want you to bring your equipment to them for repairs, I operate differently.  In an effort to better serve my clients, I do not maintain a "brick and mortar" store.  Instead, I come to you.  I also do not keep an inventory of spare parts, as in this business, the "next best thing" is often right around the corner, and retailers are left with outdated and unwanted merchandise.  This helps keep my overhead costs as low as possible, and allows me to pass those savings along to my clients.  

Additionally, by taking the time to meet my clients at their home or business, it allows me to see what is happening the same way you see it.  Perhaps the reason your printer isn't working isn't a problem with the printer at all,  maybe it has to do with where it is located.  Or, with the machine that you are trying to print from.  If you take that printer into a repair shop, it may work perfectly under those circumstances.  The only way to know for certain, is to see how everything involved is working together.

I tailor the services I provide to my clients' individual needs.  Everyone requires something different when it comes to computing.  They also have different levels of understanding.  Whether you want me to just take care of something for you, or spend the time teaching you how to to take care of it yourself in the future, I am happy to provide you with whatever level of assistance you would like to have.
